Tesla has increased the subscription fee for its Premium Connectivity service in Turkey from 150 TL to 350 TL. This hike represents an approximate 133% increase. The new pricing, effective as of August 12, 2025, has caught the attention of current users. On an annual basis, the cost of Premium Connectivity now amounts to 4,200 TL.
What Does Premium Connectivity Offer?
The Premium Connectivity package provides more convenience and information compared to the standard package. In addition to navigation-focused features like live traffic data, satellite maps, and speed camera alerts, it includes Tesla-specific functions such as video and music streaming, Caraoke, web browser, Sentry Mode, and Dog Mode. Remote access to vehicle cameras via the mobile app is also available.
What About Standard Connectivity?
Vehicles delivered by Tesla in Turkey come with Standard Connectivity for 8 years. This package covers basic navigation, music streaming via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, but advanced features like satellite imagery and live traffic data are restricted to the Premium package.
Comparison with Global Pricing
In the U.S., the Premium Connectivity subscription is priced at $9.99 per month or $99 per year. While the new monthly price of 350 TL in Turkey partially aligns with global pricing when converted to dollars, it is considered relatively high in terms of the Turkish Lira.
Who Should Upgrade, Who Should Wait?
Premium Connectivity is particularly beneficial for drivers who frequently navigate heavy city traffic, rely on live route planning, and actively use in-car entertainment. On the other hand, users who are satisfied with basic navigation and Wi-Fi connectivity may find Standard Connectivity sufficient. Following the price increase, drivers are encouraged to reassess their subscription needs based on their usage.
